Must I have finance course to apply for finance Phd?

    I am planning to apply for finance phd this fall. I have an economics master already and will have a math master soon. I do not have any finace course though. Must I take a finance course to shape me well in application?

donot worry about that too much. since u already have two masters, u can show yr background is quite close. but if yr two masters are not research based, u may need some research experience.good luck

No need to take finance course. Maths background is very desirable. Show your interest in finance in your ps, which would be an important question admission team are curious about.
