1题。我也选错了，选了C.不过看了答案后再看一遍，发现D的确最好。D就是corporation’s unbroken six-year record of growth的改写。

2题。选A.almost entirely是问题的关键。如果local industry贡献了50%的污染（不算almost entirely)，制定一个针对他们的法令也可以达到保护鸟类的目的。B是有点迷惑，其实本题假设了一个常识性问题就是鸟类的数量和空气质量有关。这点假设在C中同样适用。D,E很简单，不说了
