我是这么想的：特别警惕 当 a=b=1时， x，y 取任何值等式a^x = b^y都成立。 条件（1）不成立，因为当a=b ＝1时满足 a^2=b，x,y 可取任何值，x^y无定植。条件(2)顶多可求x值，x^y无定植。现在看(1)+(2), 当a=b=1时，y为任意值，所以x^y无定植。此题应选 E

条件（1）a^2=b，且 a^x = b^y ，推出(a^2)^(x/2)=b^y=>b^(x/2)=b^y=>x/2=y;

条件（2）x^x=4=>x^y=x^(x/2)=(x^x)^(1/2)=4^(1/2)=2

33. 360 economists with stock and bond:  75% bought stocks, 40% bought bonds, those who buy neither stocks nor bonds are 5 times of those who buy both... How many with those only buy stocks?       Number here might be not correct

 

觉得这题的题目数字有问题，如图：  

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\桌面\JG.JPG

S＝75％，B＝40％，设both为m，那么neither为5m，可得：

S+B＋5m－m＝1 =>75%+40%+4m=1 =>4m=-15%????

those who buy neither stocks nor bonds are 5 times of those who buy both... 这个条件不对吧。

Ans: E. 因为没有申请人数的信息.

 

这道题为什么不选C呢？根据两个条件，可以求出申请人数：(500-200)/申请人数＝20%,申请人数＝1500，男生录取比例＝200/1500,讨论讨论！

答案是3。
                

Ans: 3. 利用三角形的一个面积计算公式S=a*b*sin@/2 (@为a 和b的夹角)

还是不明白，应该是1/4*24=6阿
