你说得对,evaluate的题目就是要从加强和削弱两个方面考虑.很明显这个argument有提示词:since...这样的话是个典型的 causal reasoning. 要削弱和加强一个causal reasoning的话,一般方法是从"他因"方面考虑. 如果能够排除他因,则加强,如果有他因,则削弱.

回来看题: conclusion建立的联系是 concentration一样,因为进入体内的途径不一样,效果不一样,那么virus所存在的位置就不一样.

但是如果有个他因,说两者包含的zinc的activate 程度不一样,那么就可以削弱结论咯.

所以就是D咯,要是两者的activate程度一样,(排除他因)则对原结论加强.如果程度不一样(引入他因),则削弱~~~

B 不对哦。因为我们现在要evaluate的是zinc lozeges和zinc gel，而不是 zinc remedy和 非zinc remedy。所以这个比较就out of scope咯~~

问问自己，即使有一种非zinc remedy可以缩小duration又怎么样？能加强或削弱virus是不是在nose吗~

是不是所有SINCE.......的句子,都属于CAUSAL REASONING?都需要用他因排除的方法?

那么THEREFORE.......的句子,又属于什么类型的呢?

还有一个问题.SINCE....的句子,一般都是ARGUMENT所在,要从ARGUMENT中找答案的题目,除了EVALUATION题外,WEAKEN好象也有不少,那它是不是也能用同样的逻辑来解题?

1。应该可以怎么说。since一般引导cause, 然后紧跟effect.

2。therefore, thus, consequently, so, 都是引导effect 的。

3。你这个说法。。有点vague.

是这样的 一个argument包含premise(前提)， 和 conlusion. 在premise中和conlcusion中都可以包含causal reasoning .我估计你是把argument 狭义地理解为conlusion了吧 ~~对啊weaken, support, justify，assumption都是一家人~~相同类型的。如果这些题型里面都有causal reasoning 的话，都可以用相同的方法解题。

我认为你刚好说得相反。常常是因为他因才去削弱或者加强。一般题目不会让你去否定cause的，因为这样不是太明显了？ 在我印象中个别的否定cause的情况就是 cause的样本不具代表性。 其他否定cause 的类型我还不清楚。。。。

我的意思是.THEREFORE,THUS,CONSEQUENTLY,这类的词语一般是引导EFFECT,他们之间一般不存在CAUSAL REASONING的关系吧

这类题目的答案,是不是可以直接从下面的选项提供的事实,去驳斥了他们的EFFECT结果,如果存在直接相反的结果,则可以认为是对的选项呢?

不会啊，如果是一个conlusion的话，那么必然有因有果啊。没有只有凭空给你个结果没有原因的。如果有的话，那必然是justify题型。这样的话，correct answer必然是叫你补全这个原因。

不可能有assumption和weaken的题，在没有casue只有effect的情况下。
