6月24日.现在才第一个定时作文..求德克及各位NN斧正...

发现定时,如果不摸板而想自己创造几乎不可能.....半小时同时也带走我大量好点的词汇, 作文回归朴实了........幼儿了...

72. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Grades (marks) encourage students to learn. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

 

Some people believe that grades depress the students a lot on study. For a large number of children, their happy childhood were ruined by the list of embarrass marks which complied by the teacher, while the peers of theirs' got fairly high achievement about all straight As. Although it sounds so plausible that the grades are the root of Sin, which frustrates most students a lot, and we should undoubted cancel it. However, for me, there are still several cardinal reasons for the marks should exist in a considerable long time to encourage students to learn.

 

For the first significant reason, as the principle of our society is one can achieve through assiduous hard working, this means everyone has the equal opportunity to be a good student only if they wish. Therefore, the grades are the only way directly judge students' current study situation. In a good competition circumstance, grades can be a fairly strong inspiration to who is at the top and who is potential to be of that way.

To such a paramount prosperity, another one must be added. Although the marks aren't everything, the grades still act as a very leading role in all aspects of life. For students, high marks equal they could be the favor of the teachers; get scholarship; have the easy access to a prestigious grad school...while the low achievement students experience rather reverse situation, such as becoming the eyesore of the teacher, graduating from university rather unsmooth, suffering from workless. In such a conspicuous gap between, the answer of everybody is no doubt. This also could a vital motivation for students to pursue of study in order to earn the better live of further.

From those prosperities, we can't help drawing a conclusion that grades are significant in encouraging the students to pursue of high achievement. If we cancel the marks, no competition or only little motivation would remain in the school. This is the problem, how can the employs expect the students without facing any competition and pressure can be competent on their wanted position?
