G680,need retake?

G680, AWA4.5

7 years w/e in accounting and M&A consulting, wanna apply 2008 USC or UCI MBA and better to get some scholarship, do I need to retake G?

If you want to get a scholarship, you may retake. But the most important for you is the essays, outstanding essays are more important than a high GMAT score.

understand. Decided to make greater effort on essay rather than retaking G coz no much time for me if applying the 1st round. thx

with your experience, i don't think 680 is good.

Finish your essay finish, then recommendation. After that, if you still have time, retake GMAT. GMAT会给你的整个package锦上添花，而非雪中送炭。

if you want scholarship, at least 700.

借问一下，我考个670，不知道要重新考不，目标不大，就排名50-100左右的吧，拿奖的可能性大不，请牛牛帮帮我，已经快郁闷死了。

工作经验2年半，因为现在辞职备考了，1年是在一个国企，在国内还有点点名的电信设备商做海外市场助理，1年是在新加坡电信的分公司做outsourcing的财务核算。没什么管理经验。
