Dean Xiang Bing presented on How CKGSB Extends Boundaries in Executive Education at the World Class Practices in Management Education Conference held by AACSB in Beijing on May 21-22. He also attended the China MBA Association Conference at People's University on May 19-20.

Dr. André Bonfrer, Assistant Professor of Marketing at Singapore Management University joined Cheung Kong GSB as Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing on May 10.

Dr. Chen Xinlei, Assistant Professor of Marketing at University of British Columbia joined Cheung Kong GSB as Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing on May 21.

Cheung Kong MBA students debated their CEIBS counterparts on the relation between Corporate Social Responsibility and Profitability at the Sino-Dutch Business Forum on CSR held on May 23^rd at CEIBS.

Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, and Hudson made recruitment presentations to Cheung Kong MBA students on the Shanghai campus.

EMBA

Cheung Kong GSB welcomed over 180 business leaders from all over China for the EMBA spring intake in the program opening ceremony on May 23 in Beijing at the Regent Hotel.

More than 30 CEOs from China's leading companies gathered in Hong Kong on May 9 for the China CEO Program, launched jointly by Cheung Kong GSB, INSEAD, and Columbia Business School.

The China-Korea CEO Program brought together 80 CEOs from leading Chinese and Korean corporations for intense learning and networking beginning May 12 in Shenzhen. The Program was jointly organized by CKGSB and Seoul National University.

Alumni

Dean Xiang joined more than 30 Cheung Kong GSB alumni to celebrate the establishment of the North American Alumni Chapter, the School’s first alumni chapter overseas, in Vancouver, Canada, on May 4.

Events

Cheung Kong GSB held the Shanghai Forum on May 16 at the Garden Hotel in Shanghai featuring Dean Xiang, who spoke on Three Generations of Chinese Entrepreneurs, followed by a panel discussion led by four prominent entrepreneurs, and a speech by Professor Zhou Qiren.
