想想还是觉得E对，因为试验有了time的限制，所以jays没有时间每次先去找crickets, 等发现crickets degrade了以后再转而找peanuts,而是直接switched their preference from crickets to peanuts once the food had been stored for a certain length of time。所以证明他们是记得存储时间和直接找peanuts 的地方的能力的。
定位在“in the wild, these birds store food for retrieval later during periods of food scarcity." 则如果实验中鸟一直被喂不足的饭量，它就会以为现在是食物缺乏期了，就会进行food retrieval的动作了。这是无论后面选peanut还是criket的必要前提。
