I do not think acca means nothing,but on the other hand ,acca is the best career training for me to get the in depth knowledge in the financial world .

you should try to know that  first,after investigation,then the conclusion can be made ,otherwise you are trying to be innocent.

the point is that all the designations (cfa, acca, etc.) won't help in phd admissions. Stern's website has a FAQ section that specifically adressed the question, one of the funniest i've ever read. they picked on i-bankers by the way.
you'd better find out what the admit committee looks at - GPA, courses taken, research experience, recommendation from professors (note: not your boss in the industry). GMAT is just a cut-point. it will get you through the preliminary round but that's it.

your profile is "colorful".  but as ProfCPA said, phd application is full of "random" and actually, i would say it is about "luck".

I would rather say that your background is very strong, either try a top MBA programe or a top PHD programe, depending on what you want from your career
