题目：Some people think governments should decide which classes should be taught in high school. Others think that business and industry should decide the curriculum. Still others think that parents should decide what should be taught. What is your position? Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.
Among the three choices, i my opinion, business and industry should decide the curriculum. It is true that we should learn some coursed determined by government, such as some subjects on political, which is essential for us to live in a country. However, the statement that parents should decide what to learn is just ridiculous, since we are all free to make our own choices, and should not be constrained by others, even our parents.
Firstly, business and industry can give us a clear orientation for us to choose what to learn; that is, we should always try to become the people that the business and industry needs. If we have learn something just useless in the future, for example , some knowledge that are out of date, we can not even survive in the society. If we can exactly define what kinds of people the business and industry will need, however, the result will be absolutely differient. We can not only get a good job , but also can feel substantial satisfaction on our career. Secondly, we can be more easily be motivated if our curriculum is determined by the business and industry. When we are learning a subject, we can clearly see the future use of the subject, which can give great enthusiastic for us to study. Nevertheless, if our curriculum is determined by the government or our parents, we may just lost ourselves in our study. We do not know what the subject is about, and whether the knowledge we have learned from the subject can be applied in our future career or not. As a result, we will probably feel depressed in our study, which in return will stunt our study. At last, studing the curriculum determined by the business and industry can offer us more oppotunities to practise our abilities while we are still in campus. Because what we learned is greatly connected with the business and industry, we can spend our free time at industries and business. By doing that, we will attain considerable accomplishment of what we have learned, and it can also increase our comprehension of our subjects. However, as i have indicated at the begining, some coursed provided by the governmnet is also essential to university students. We are living in a country, and what the policies of the country are, for instance, the laws, the stands on some issues, can all contribute as big factors in our future career. 呵呵。。。给大家参考下，也希望大家多多指教。。。 |
