应该选d，b讲的是说这件事情的动机是impress， 而题目中说的做事的动机。slight distinction！好长时间没做lsat了，不知道选对了么？

Should be D, B uses "guess" which is different from "believe".

i stick to my opinion, in B 是说这件事的动机是为了impress, 而题目中说的是做事的动机，所以不一样
