一般来说， 刚开的mba还是不要去， mba这东西是很虚的， 需要常年的积累才能把项目做好。

他连奖学金都没给你， 你也就不用去当床脚凳了。

建议不要去。重考GT，楼主可以有很多更好的机会。

这么好的背景... ...如果去花钱读UCSD真的很亏...GT也不是很差啊...鼓励lz再坚持一年。看看你的package的问题在什么地方--我估计应该还有别的地方有问题。不知道你都拿到了interview么有。anyway，尽管可以想象这一年会很难，但是还是建议lz重来一年。

Thank you for all the kindly suggestions. I appreciate your comments very much. Just got the feedback from Tuck, that firstly the career goal essay is lacking of specific information that how I can realize it step by step. Secondly is that my GT score keeps me out. They said that many international applicants' GT is much higher than mine.

For Gmat, the toughest part for me is maths section. I got M46 V38. I don't know if the maths can be easily improved. I am not worrying for Toefl. I did not review TOEFL and just took the test. And on the testing day, I was late. So I still have 2 listening comprehension left when others started to oral. I can not listen to my parts clearly at all. My testing site is 华师大. Quite crowded seated people there, and I do think that great inter-influence.

The $10K is all what I had. I checked up Vault.com and future students' profile. Most of them held a phd and master and tend to be Tech MBA. So far there is no sufficient information as job placement, package, etc. It's really hard to me to be confident for the ROI.

I only got 3 interviews: Kellogg, BU and UCSD. The interviewew from UCSD is the director of adcom, a very nice woman. I believe that my interview was successful for the UCSD section.

However, I failed in Kellogg interview. I ruined the interview as lacking of good preparation. Moreover, I did not communicate well as my interviewer, a Chinese woman from a top consulting firm in Beijing, is tough and not that professional at all.

我觉得Kellogg的面试，应该是，只要申请，都会有。其他的top school, 我都没有拿到面试。

有一个问题在于我的推荐信，我都是让过去的老板给写的（2个老美）。但是老美的习惯是他们坚持自己写，根本不让我看。UCSD的那两封，有一个是我找中国老板给写的，基本是我自己写完后，她修改一下就发了。所以我怀疑，可能是老美给我写的推荐信的问题?

我让一个美国人帮我分析，他是工程师背景，读了UCLA的MBA, 自己创业。他说我的背景太大众化，四大审计，美国五百强，没有什么让美国人觉得Unique的地方。但是Tuck给我的feedback，说我工作简历的问题不大，主要是第一篇Essay (我写的是be a strategic leader of a Chinese state-owned company)不够specific, 还有GT分数太低。

P.S: Tuck 的人还是超级nice的。给我感觉，Kellogg的人比较冷冰冰的。而且面试我的中国女校友不太友好。

这样说的话你的application他们觉得真的是不强.而且你不是那种中国年轻女生---BS最喜欢的group.既然背景没有特别的,那就G考的高一些(720+?)把.我也觉得你应该能进top20的program.不过可能今年的会比2006年更加惨烈.

还有就是既然你很想找bf,不是正好可以有时间在国内搞定一个先?
