这一句有点不知所云。IB 要各种背景没错，但是落实到 intern 总有个 job requirement。一个有志做 banker 的 MBA，就算以前从没 touch accounting finance，上 MBA 一年还没搞懂，有点说不过去吧。LZ 问的 WACC 和 deferred tax，属于 Financial Statement Analysis 最基本的常识，在 CFA 考试放在 Level 1 级别。IB 又不是 b-school，空着脑子去，从零开始手把手教你。

谢谢你指出，不过这种现象的确存在的，因为大部分人找summer associate的时候才刚刚到b-school，屁股还没怎么坐热，我想accounting也没有学完吧。当然一年以后是另外的结论了。

I am surprised too. As a smart guy like you, still misunderstand what I typed here. I am a controller, not a "financial controller" as you think.

In most european companies, tax and accounting booking are not the responsibilities of controller. Besides, my subordinates understand the deferred tax and WACC much better than me and they also speak better English than me as they are CPAs and ACCAs with PET-8.

呵呵，那是你这么想

LZ说的情况虽然有点夸张, 但也未必不是事实

事实上, 每个学校都有自己的侧重点, 而且也有自己的专长, 至少LZ列举的三个学校, 都不是以FINANCE为FOCUS的, 因此可能这些CANDIDATES在FINANCE方面不强, 但是可能在CASE STUDY中就表现的很好.

不过有一点很奇怪的, 既然要FOCUS ON FINANCE JOB了, 至少还是要先做一点HOMEWORK的, 某些最基本的概念都回答不上来, 是有点不应该

不过也给大家提了个醒, 因为基本上IB的INTERN HUNTING, 从九月份就开始了,所以有兴趣以后从事IB的各位, 还是提早开始准备比较好
