I should say u've got a special taste...

Henry and I both have been there before...both of us think the climate there is not as amiable as what you described...

anyway...you like CA while I like somewhere else...

In the summer it is hot anyway everywhere in the nation.

But think that again after you taste the wind and the rain and the snow, and the combination of all those together, in NYC, Chicago, Boston, DC, Philly, etc. in the winter. I bet you would not say the same thing again. Come on, don't be so greedy.. 

Seriously, I have never met a Chinese here saying they don't like the weather in CA, if they've been to CA before.

不要location过于狂热化. 地方好,就业机会多是事实.但对地方好的学校就assume他的就业一定好,我持保留态度.一个学校的就业好坏取决于很多因素,学校的career service, networking with industry,不是仅仅是一个location好就能决定的.很多名校在小镇上,位置并不好。但这并不影响他的就业情况,在一个地区一个学校的名气大到一定程度,附近的公司都会过去招聘.所以,给你的机会和位置优势给你的机会是等同的。把就业简单的和location画等号, 认为只要地方好,再一般的学校也能找到工作, 只要在村里,哪怕他排名前10也找不到工作, 是非常荒谬的。

另外,我一直认为读书不光是为了就业.当然就业是非常重要的方面要考虑.读书这几年,你接触的老师,同学,资源都是很重要的财富,会再次改变或提升你.读书是种投资,投资也要目光长远一些.
