bettywushh, I think Vandy is defintely a better choice than Penn state. as a private school, Vandy is quite famous in the states, especially in the south. I have been to Penn state, a VERY remote place close to nothing. Although the moutains there are beautiful, but I don't think it is a good place for studying business. My wife lives in PA now, she never think penn. state is a good school too, in the states, all public schools are no big difference except for berkerly, Ucla, michigan, virginia and maybe unc, wisc.
agree with upstairs, psu is in the middle of nowhere, an isolated college town. however, staying there for two years might not be a big deal, plus it's not far from Philly, NYC where you will find lots of job oppotunities.
I know you can drive from penn state to nyc, but 5 or 6 hours driving(one way) is not pleasant and you just can't do it very frequently. and because penn state is quite far from major airport(harrisburg is the nearest), I doubt if there is any school will do on-campus recruiting in penn. state.
