I work at the MBA career service office for my GA at Penn State. I did not count carefully but so far about 50 companies did on-campus recruiting for MBA internship, including Dupont, Dell,B&D, Heinz,Honeywell,Merrill Lynch, Citigroup. As far as I know, two of us got offers from Jpmorgan, two from citigroup, three from Dupont, and thirteen from Dell. So far at least 50% of first year have determined their internship, not including those who got more than one offers and haven't decided where to go. BWT, the fact that somebody who lives in PA does not think Penn State is not a good school seems not strong enough to conclude that Penn State is not a good school.

我们学校的MBA规模当然不能和TOP相比，但是来学校招聘的公司绝对不像您说的这样。

说机场的话，SCE的机场就在学校15－20分钟车程的地方。每天的飞机可以去很多地方，NY, CHICAGO, DC, PHILY等等。美国广大小镇都是这样。

bettywushh, I think Vandy is defintely a better choice than Penn state. as a private school, Vandy is quite famous in the states, especially in the south. I have been to Penn state, a VERY remote place close to nothing. Although the moutains there are beautiful, but I don't think it is a good place for studying business. My wife lives in PA now, she never think penn. state is a good school too, in the states, all public schools are no big difference except for berkerly, Ucla, michigan, virginia and maybe unc, wisc.

没错，我们不是TOP SCHOOL，我们也从来没把自己当作TOP SCHOOL, 但是这样武断的认为我们不是GOOD SCHOOL，武断认为没有公司ON CAMPUS面试，请恕我们很难接受，呵呵。

如果说这两年找工作的情况，我们并不差，学校有统计数据；尤其SCM这方面的同学，工作都找得挺早；至于是否“理想”，个人看法有区别。

比起那些大学校，我们得MBA项目时间不长，我们的MBA校友数目的确少，但是PSU在东北地区势力非常雄厚，各个行业都有，就是西海岸也不少校友的。

Betty MM我联系过，无论她作什么选择，我觉得她都有很好的前途。关键是她自己得背景和对将来的想法。

我没有联系他们,没有去要求更多的scholarship,是他们主动给我的，因为当时给我offer是我push的,他们说还没有看完所有申请人的材料，不能决定是否给我GA,3月中旬再通知我,现在就通知我了.

另外,我今天也收到vandy给我的resident adviser的工作了,一个星期工作15个小时,给我免费的住宿,包括水电费,上网费之类的,再加上7 meals a week.给我安排了一个building,离bschool很近. 不过这个申请过程也比较长,大概将近1个月才通知我,也要ESSAY, 推荐信,面试.我申请的时候deadline已经过了,我给他们发了邮件,他们接受了我的申请.整个感觉不错.
