it looks like Penn. state is not bad,  actually I do not know much about the school itself. what I have seen give me a bad impression. Maybe Smeal is a good school. I still do not like its location anyway.

Bettywushh mm just have too many good choices to choose. hehe..

I respect Penn. state very much, I know it is the best public school in PA and you have a very good engineering school, actually I have a good friend studying there. Except for location, actually my impression of your school is not bad.  I just wanna share my oppinion, no offense at all.  Honestly speaking, among so many good schools in northeast, Penn. state really is not outstanding.

I have never been to vandy, but I spent 3 years in the south, that's why I know Vandy's good reputation in the south. I've also heard Vandy's campus is one of the most beautifuls in the states.

my sister was sent by her company to Willamsport for a couple of times. she always complain she have transfer to a small plane to get there, if you miss one flight, you have to wait a long time.

我从来没有也不会认为PSU's MBA program is outstanding. 对于申请到我们学校来读书的朋友，我的原则是不给大家施加片面影响。

同样，我作为这个学校的学生，看到您的看法，也是实事求是的说自己的所见所闻。探讨而已。

今天去问招商银行了，而且还拿了100块做试验，开了一个存款证明，我选择的是活期帐户开存款证明，但是有冻结期，存款证明上显示的就是2年前开的户，但是没有到期日。招行的人说美国大使馆一般要看定期存款，活期的不行，请问各位这个是否属实？？有没有活期存款证明成功签过的例子？

因为如果是定期存款，我们只能现在把钱存进去，那么显示的开户日期就只能是现在，担心签证官怀疑钱是借来的。

可以的，我试过了。而且我还问到了一个学生，北京签走的，他当时存款都是活期的，签证官只看了存款证明，没有看存折和流水单，只是每个签证官都不一样...

vandy还有其他补助吗？我感觉已经拿了全奖，再去要估计是要不到了。 我本来想拿那个RA的employment letter作为supporting document, 想用来抵消 rent/utilities 和meals，可是又听人家说不能让签证官知道我需要工作才能负担得起生活费，这样会让签证官感觉我毕业后可能会留在美国工作赚钱。

另外，supporting letter好像不现实，第一，我只想在签证下来后告诉公司说我要走，不像在签证之前说。第二，个人感觉公司是不可能给开这样一个supporting letter了，公司肯定会说欢迎我毕业后回来，但公司不可能为我保留目前职位两年，也不可能promise我说两年后我回国他们一定能给我提供一个职位，或者是被promote，个人感觉公司开这种信是很慎重的，感觉一般大公司不会随便开这种信。

请问有多少人开了supporting letter去签证的？
