已被录取，学校又给钱去学校逛逛，这是什么意图呢？

已经拿到UMICH的录取，最近又收到学校的邀请信去学校逛逛，和教授聊聊玩玩。学校管吃管住，并且报销路费。我时间很紧张，未必有时间参加，在考虑去不去。想问下大家，学校这样做的意图是什么？营销自己么？还是什么别的意图？谢谢大家。

忘了说了 我的专业不是MBA，发到这里的原因是MBA经常会有这样的事情，所以想求教下。

University of Michigan is inviting you to come to Ann Arbor, to visit us at the University of Michigan on Friday, March 23, 2007. We are planning several events for that day to help you learn more about the Program. You will be able to meet with some of our faculty members and current students, see our facilities, and get to know the campus and the city of Ann Arbor.

University of Michigan will reimburse you up to $500 for your transportation expenses: round trip economy class airfare to Detroit Metro Airport, and ground transportation between the airport and campus. You would plan to arrive on Thursday, March 22, and stay until Saturday, March 24. We will provide breakfast and lunch for you on Friday. We have reserved hotel rooms (at our expense) for two nights at the Michigan League, one of the University's student unions: for Thursday night, March 22, and Friday night the 23rd. (Our male guests may be asked to share a hotel room with another male guest.)

我觉得这个主要是针对在美国境内的学生的，如果你在美国的话当然是最好去了，如果你是在国内，我觉得没有必要吧？500刀根本就不够路费啊。美国的学校都是这样的，这封信显然是发给所有被录取的学生的，邀请你们去看看，更加了解学校和那里的环境，很多学校都有这种活动。如果你去不了，就给他们回封信，解释一下就好了。没什么大不了的！纯属个人意见！

学校的Marketing策略，录取了不一定去阿，学校此举为了把你弄过去继续推销，保证你去他们学校。
