HBS released a few invites last Thursday, 2/25. So, any day now. Good luck to all. My MSN is jandjshi(A) hotmail.com.

Admission 411 shows 5 Americans got interview invitations already!!

attached is the statistics I download from www.admissions411.com. It seems like there are 5 people already got R2 invitations. All Americans. I checked one girl's profile, it seems like she applied for both HBS and Michigan. Does not seem like she is bluffing.

However, the email from admission office clearly says invitation would not be extended until early Feb. see below:

Thank you for your inquiry.

 

Please be advised that interview invitations are extended by email at the discretion of the Admissions Board only after applications have been reviewed. If you are invited to interview, you will receive more information at that time.

 

The Round 2 interview invitations will be extended from early February through March 28th. Candidates who are unavailable or unable to respond to interview invitations will have their decision upheld until an interview is conducted. Interviews may be conducted on campus, in your location by HBS alumni, or by telephone.

I applied for the 2nd round and just got the invitation of on-campus interview this afternoon. It is scheduled on Feb.20. I would like to ask yaoyao and other "niuren" one question: What preparation work should I do before interview and what should I pay attention to? It is always said that HBS interview is very aggresive and challenging. So I am a little bit nervous. Wish me and all of you good luck in Chinese new year!

i submitted about 10 hours before the deadline.

Nope...the status in Applyyourself doesn't change anything even after i got the invitation. I received the invitation via email notification.
