w.e. stands for work experience.  And I am in finance field. for prospective Yale applicants, i think interview is important.  most of the yale interviews are conducted by 2nd yr students.  you can be creative, come up with highlights to impress ur interviewer, and be sure to mention about ur interest in non-profit work (bs is accepted).....
