复习GMAT已经有一段日子了, 但一直没有定下具体考试时间, 故而总是懒懒散散. 这段时间思来想去, 决定还是认真准备G.

选择考g, 或许是选择一种方式证明自己.

 

背景: 工作一年半, 以前考过T, 一般水平. 工作不忙, 基本每天可以抽出5个小时复习. 周末全天,

目标: 定高点吧, 750+. 没底啊,没有模考过, 大家不要笑我. 初步想在3.31日考

目前状态:

sc: OG做过两遍, 正确率在80%左右, 但是还是觉得有些题目面目模糊, 不知道要考察我什么, 判断也只是凭借最基本的平行/一致等, 做难一点的题目就会心里没底, 我想还是再做一遍OG, 然后每个题目都来CD看下前辈的讨论贴. 最近看了一些, 都是精华啊!

RC: 刚刚把紫皮的vebal review做完, 黄皮刚刚开始做. 基本每篇都写下逻辑简图. 但是阅读预期很差, 正确率很不稳定. 其实我对rc处于茫然状态, 只知道做题, 听前辈说要画逻辑简图而已. 具体功效不是很清楚, 努力理解小安阅读法中, 希望元旦能在OG上试验一番.

其余还未开始.

距离考试还有100天左右, 其中还有农历新年, 我想我或许需要一个更详细的阶段性规划, 但是又不知道怎么做, 唉.现在计划是每天25个sc+总结+限时, 3篇RC+分析(OG还剩21篇), 利用元旦时间长做第二遍. 每天30分钟至一个小时看单词. 其余, 就不知道了......

谨以此楼做为我考g的见证. 希望大家多给些指导意见, 谢谢先

现在发现要是每个sc都搜原帖看讨论的话很慢, 但是收获很大~还是继续坚持下去吧!

今天没有完成任务...自pia~.

做了紫皮书76-100题的sc,耗时35min(严重超时) 其中76, 79, 82,92 ,97错误. 83,86,88,97用时过多且无把握

此题错选A. 汗, 时态+冗馀+rate的搭配, 一个都没有看出来....

考点: 1. redundancy :soar和rise重复, soaring: 剧增的

      2. 时态, 不用a force for用forcing.

         force作n.是力量，影响力；作v. 迫使，综合原文，n变v意思就改变了

         文意：飙升的保险迫使降价

         are a force: 降价的一个影响力

      OG的解释似乎是因为soaring所以这要用forcing: are forcing shows clearly what the soaring rates are dong

      3. rate:

         费用 + for

         比率 + of

另, for和of的区别. 不作评论

for和of本身的区别：for表示对应某物而产生的，如：rate for increase表示增长所需的费用，而rate of increase就表示增长的速度。这里并不是因为rate的意思不同导致使用不同介词，而是因为使用了不同的介词使得rate的意思产生不同。所以反过来说当需要表达不同的意思的时候，就要选择不同的介词使得中心词产生相应的意思。

这道题我用主谓一致+逻辑意思(强调H的wife)直接排除的, 没想到那么多讨论, 汗.

*A and B ＋ 从句的结构中，默认从句修饰A and B，如果想单独修饰A的话，必须A + 从句 and B.

另外我觉得sc不常考到中学学的虚拟语气. 记得有题OG还专门提出说虚拟语气现在用的不多, 但是此题要用虚拟, 结果不过是一个demand that+be, should必省的类型

1.当需要修饰前面的整个的句子的内容的时候,GMAT中通常会采用补出名词或者名词短语的方式. finding后面属于独立主格结构

2.sediments from the Baltic Sea，研究的时候这个sediments来自Baltic Sea但已经在实验室了。Baltic Sea sediments可能给人误解，在研究的时候科学家dive into Baltic Sea with scuba and analyze the sediments on site. 我最不清楚的恐怕就是这种歧意了
