2.The Darden School seeks a diverse and unique entering class of future leaders. How will your distinctiveness enrich our learning environment and enhance your prospects for success as a leader?

So, does it mean that how will your distinctiveness enhance your success?Then,After got MBA? And in what aspects?

Quite interesting, in my view,distinctiveness doesnot belong to personal quality category and has no direct relation to a successful leader. Any comments? Thanks a lot!

Actually it asks two questions. One is how your uniqueness contribute to the future class. Second, how that helps you to succeed after MBA. Uniqueness includes both your experience and your ideas.

The skills can be anything, anything that is related, not necessarily just your professional skills. Focus on uniqueness. Yes, why you and how you can add value. It might be helpful if you can link your strength to the specific Darden programs or classes.

Focused on those skills that you are good at and can contribute to the program. Since you will continue to polish those skills while using it in school, you can use them after school as a leader.

Actually, what concerns me more is the second part of the question. In my view, your distinctiveness ( distinctive advantage) responded to the first part, could be used as the fundamental materials to construct the second one. Your distinctiveness is the same, or enhanced through the b-school. It's one personal quality question asked in two scenarios.
