有一个疑问，如果去美国读MASTER，比如说会计，

如果想继续申请读PHD的话根本也没什么优势啊：

1. 你八月份进去，十二月就要开始申请PHD，本身MASTER 还没有读多久，很难有说服力

2. 美国的MASTER 又不是强调学术的，课程又紧，很难发文章什么的

但是为什么我看很多PHD PROFILE都曾经在美国读过MASTER？他们是怎么弄的呢？

在坛里有没有人是读完M就读P的呢，具体是怎样操作的？

1. If you are in a two year master program (economics, math or statistics), you have one year to build up your skills and relationship.
2. Even you have only one year and you start application immediately after you come to the US, you have American professors write your recommendation letters. Besides, your master degree signal your quality and motivation.
