Hi there, I just started my second term after 4 tests for last term. This term I have 6 compulsary subjects with one elective. Every is allowed to choose one but can attend more. We have study group to deal with group assignments, but we still have individual assignments. My feeling toward the workload is that, even though i feel i am pretty busy, we are still relatively easy in comparison with other business schools. For example, we have much less exams than Oxford. Collaboration is very important during the study, and is also a very impressive feature of JBS. Everyone here is very nice. We try to help each other other than competing with each other. Learning from the peers is really amazing process. Regarding the living, Cambridge and oxford probably are the only two collegial university, which means we live in the colleges and studies in the department. They are independent entities. If you were admitted by JBS, you will be chosen by a college, which is in charge of your living and accomadation. If having more questions, feel free to ask! |
