还是比较的东西要对等

A1 .. + 数字/倍数 + more than A2 

A1 和 A2 要是可以比的东西，尽量补出谓语动词， be + 表语的情况，be 动词可以省略

than 后面的从句可以倒装

省略还有几种情况：than expected/anticipated/ever/before ...其他省略就要小心了。

还是用排除法来做比较快。

楼上好像不对吧，人家谈了这么久就是再说比较要对等，你这个词组Of five years ago怎么跟前面对等呀？

     more rebust 是宾补， 加上 it was 更明确表明比较对象是 economic health 而不是 a rise

同意某亲开头所说的~

First of all, 拉出比较部分，确定比较成分的主谓。

Secondly，当比较对象的动作是相同的，但发生的时间不一样时，或同一事物的相同动作发生的时间不同时，应注意做出补足，且than或as从句补出的主动词的时态由时间装状语和句子大意决定。

Thirdly，应注意到than excpected /anticipated/ever/ before 等的特殊用法。

The rest，酌情考虑把。。。。

what 和it 并列不对吧，语法上what = the thing that, 后面就不应该再用it了。（thing就是每个句中不同的名词，这里就应该是eco. health），

单单是what was 5 years ago 听上去倒不错
