以下是引用高兴在2006-11-3 15:35:00的发言: You can either apply to Health Care MBA program, or choose Health Care concentration. Currently no Chinese students are enrolled in the Health Care program or have chosen such a concentration. You can visit Owen website to get more information about this program. If you have specific questions, let me know. I will find the right persons to help answer your questions.
When do we need to choose the concentration? First year or second year? Or it is just general and no need for concentration for the first year? Is the normal two-year MBA program with a healthcare concentration? Is is different from the one called "health care MBA"? What is the difference? I would be happy to stay in healthcare industy but I don't want to be restricted to healthcare. I am afraid it will happen if I choose the specified healthcare MBA. but saying to be the business leader in Chinese healthdcare industry sounds easier to me. And I will be more confident and have more to say in the interview if I am asked about my goal. You know, at least something you are confident to talk about. If my goal is something I don't really know much, I will fail to convince the admission officer why it is my goal, 'cause I can't explore too much. What do you think if I just choose the normal MBA and state interest in healthcare, say MBA with the healthcare concentration, not the health care MBA? Will the admission committe recommends me to consider the "health care MBA"? I wanted to start the application but I find I have to make a choice at the very beginning of the online application, which I am not sure whether I can change it later on. Also, I heard that some one in a manager position in a medical company got a full tuition and stipend scholarship from Oven with a GMAT score of 720. My GMAT is 760, so it is inspiring but my work experience is short, 3 years including one year internship. Scholarship with tution and stipend is crucial to me. |
