155. The proportion of women among students enrolled in higher education programs has increased over the past decades. This is partly shown by the fact that in 1959, only 11 percent of the women between twenty and twenty-one were enrolled in college, while in 1981, 30 percent of the women between twenty and twenty-one were enrolled in college.

 

To evaluate the argument above, it would be most useful to compare 1959 and 1981 with regard to which of the following characteristics?

(A) The percentage of women between twenty and twenty-one who were not enrolled in college

(B) The percentage of women between twenty and twenty-five who graduated from college

(C) The percentage of women who, after attending college, entered highly paid professions

(D) The percentage of men between twenty and twenty-one who were enrolled in college

我觉得这道题D不严谨。。。就算有了男生比例，不知道男生和女生各自的人数，怎么能判定女生比例增加了呢？

比如说女生在59年总人数100人，11%是11个人。。。 在81年总人数10人，30%就是3个人。

这样如果男生不给出总人数的话，只给比例，没办法判定女生比例是增加了还是减少了。。。

我觉得这道题如果不给出男生20-21岁总人数，和女生20-21总人数，而只给比例的话，是没办法得出结论的。。

是不是这种题只是问有用的信息，但是依靠这些信息未必推出结论呢。。。
