本人英语自认为英语水平不差,准备时没太把作文当回事,现在离考试还有两星期,突然开始觉得自己的作文前言不打后语, 郁闷呢. 贴一篇作文等待拍砖. 大家一定看看到底是什么毛病 Home Work, Daily Business As we were busy doing our homework under the light in the evenings, inevitablely, people stop their pens and was struck upon an idea: Is it nesissary to do homework everyday, while sometimes they repeats. This is a world with explosive of knowlege to learn. Homework, thus, is a good supplement to clasroom teaching. Although mankind has undergone no general improvement in intelligent and morality, it has made extraodinary progress in accumulation of knowledge. With the invention of printing and then computers and internet, the growth of knowledge followed a kind of compond interest law. Any one without sharing of these great improvement of humans is somehow a sad thing. However, only by workhard every day can one make any achievement in thier study. While achieving success is easier said than done, persistence dose in fact pay off. It may argue that in the evennings, the student, tired out of a day's sweat and effort, deserves some entertainment. Therefore, and by continues practise, can one perfect his skill and done the job. Still remember the widely retelled stories of those great men? Newton boilled his watch for too devoting his mind to thinking; Edison worked continuesly several days in his lab for a single research; Marx missed meals while writing his work! Sucess doesn't come as a piece of cake. Homework is only the first step. Finally, there's another thing explains why a teacher's assightment outweigh student's random reading. As is mentioned before,the knowledge of any perticular field is abundant enough beyond a single mind's life time pursuing. Teachers always understand issues better than students and their assighment is always a great help. Take I myself for instance, who once spent several weeks reading stumblingly some difficult classic novel while our assighment is a moden one. However, when I finished it, I really regret the time I spent on them-- that's not a wise choice for I didn't learn much. As is argued above, the assighment can really help our student a lot and they are most of the time very efficient. Next time your teacher send you any homework, don't hesitate to take it! |
