今年有2个audit background的新同学,一个在国内的BIG 4工作了5年,在美国的BIG 4工作了2年,另外一个在国内的BIG 4工作了3年(具体情况可以参考2006年的申请录取汇总),如果没有错这应该是Kellogg今年唯一从4大招的人,而且Kellogg去年也录取了一个EY BEIJING的审计师,有BIG 4经验的同志们不妨勇敢地试一试.

Just finished our CIM week (Orientation) today and Kellogg is really a great school, there should be more and more Chinese applicants.  This year, we had at least 18 classmates directly from Korea, 12 from Japan, 6 from Thailand, but only had less than 10 Chinese students (using the passport from China, Hong Kong or Taiwan, though we had many ABCs).  We talked to the Dean, and even he does not understand why the number of Chinese applicants is less than that of applicants in Korea or Japan.

原来是传说中的猪姐姐,欢迎欢迎.  是啊,还有很多case要读.  对不起,我只知道迈阿密分校主要是针对南美的Executive MBA Program.  如果你想读MMM 或者Full Time 的话,应该只有Evanston的校园可以申请.

Kellogg2008, 我想问个问题, kellogg的那个MMM,是两个学位都给吗?我一直不是很清楚的是,在2年的时间内怎么能修2个学位呢? 光一个MBA就够学的了,再加一个ENGINEERING MASTER,那样的话,是不是学业比MBA还重呢?要是不重的话,那是不是有水份呢,比起正常的2年的MBA?  MMM的毕业去向和正常的MBA一样吗? 是不是全进传统的制造业的呢?

打扰，问个细节问题，你后面的applicants应该是指已经录取了的申请者，和前面的applicants应该是一个意思吧。也就是说申请KELLOGG的中国人并不少，只是录取的人奇少而已？还是说申请的和录取的中国人都非常少？

Yes, you will get two degrees, both the Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management and the Master of Engineering Management degree from the Robert R. McCormich School of Engineering and Applied Science. You can see that the second degree is not a traditional engineering master. It's also about management. That's why you can get that degree without taking another two years. As to the course load, I'll say it's probably slightly heavier than the regular 2-Y program, but not that much difference.

The employment statistics of class 2006 is here http://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/mmm/MMMinsert061%202.pdf. Compared with the regular 2-Y program, more students will get into consulting and fewer will get into finance. However, it's more because of self-selection. If you really want to go into IB, you can do it with the MMM program. Last year, a few MMM students got IB intern. It's really up to you as to where you want to go after two years at Kellogg.
