[求助] OG句型分析急需協助~~

小妹有兩個句子看不明白, 是否可請眾強者幫忙解釋一下, 感激不盡^_^            1. In the study, researchers asked monitered clerical workers and their supervisors how assessments of productivity affected supervisors' ratings of workers' performance.     2.
  In other words, Baker contends, women activists were early practitioners of nonpartisan, issue orinted politics and thus were more interested in enlisting lawmakers, regardless of their party affiliation, on behalf of certain issues than in ensuring that one party or another won an election.

第一句如果能明白是主干是researchers asked workers and supervisors how的话,就不难了...此句只是在workers 前加了monitered增加了难度,其实它只做workers的定语.而how引导的一个从句,做ask的宾语.应该是说清清楚楚了吧.

第二句有个问题,orinted是不是LZ笔误?然后我也还没搞懂.

第一句現在大致上是明白了,

而第二句原先筆誤, 抱歉阿  是oriented才對,

正確句如下,  有沒有可以再幫忙解說的好心人 ?

没搞清楚的原因是issue oriented politics作何成份不解。鉴于thus were(issue 是单数，不可能做主语），可以肯定的是全句主体结构是Baker contends, activists were practitioners and thus were more interested in enlisting than in ensuring that.

issue oriented politics何解还需高人解答。
