OG对选项A和B的解释都是说"no reason(cause) is given"。但提问中不是说"if known"，那就不要求题目给出reason(cause)了吧。我觉得之所以不选A和B是因为这2个是support题目中的hypothesis.哪位大侠能否解释一下OG中对A,B选项的前半段解释。谢了！

不好意思，更正一下：不“Which of the following, if known, is evidence that contradicts the hypothesis stated in lines 2-5 above? ”，而是“Which of the following, if known, is evidence that contradicts the hypothesis stated in lines  above? ”没有“2-5 ”的。

题目要求的是weaken文中的假设

假设是:intensity of incident light is the stimulus that controls these daily biological rhythms. 光的强度是一种刺激物控制着生物节律

A：体温。文章的hypothesis是光的强度控制着生物节律。我们要找一个光未必控制着生物节律，或者是有其它东西控制着生物节律。体温的变化和题目无关。we are talking about light and biological rhythms。

B：有些动物白天运动，有些动物晚上运动。为何不同的动物会有不同的rhythms不是文章讨论的重点。文章在讨论光和生物节律的关系。所以也是无关的。

if known means 以下的事实是真的，只是告诉你一个事实，找一个能最大程度上反驳hypothesis的即可。题目的hypothesis已经给出了一个假设的原因。我们需要找一个事实，证明这个原因是错误的。换句话说，这样的假设的原因未必能得出想要的事实即可。

我理解的OG的意思是：选项AB只给出了daily biological rhythms的两个例子，但并没有给出是什么原因，no reason is given to explain,所以构不成削弱，如果说这两个例子(人的体温变化和动物的活动时间不同)是由light intensity变化引起的，也就可以成为正确选项了；

单从两个句子所涉及的内容来说与假设无关

这个题，我很晕。。

A。 人体温度不同，傍晚温度高，早上温度低---可否理解为：傍晚就是没有光或者光的强度弱，体温高，早上有光，体温低。这不也是生物节律与光有关吗？

E应该怎么翻译even when exposed to constant light intensity around the clock?

现在想清楚这个问题：

题目： 动植物都有生物钟，

结论： 这种生物钟的改变主要是光的强度的改变控制这个生物钟24小时的循环。

A 错， 问题不是推论inference，而是削弱weaken，我前面的一个设想是在推论，A谈论的光的强度影响rhythms的问题，温度的问题应该是无关选项，理解楼上gonghao的回答了

B 错， 举出2中相反规律的例子， (而且介绍的activity ,并不是rhymthms,可以考虑无关选项)并没有说明削弱，也没有说明支持，有点中立的态度。

C错，支持了原文的结论，换time zone, 又很快调整了白天和晚上的时区。

D 错，无关， remove nucleus 单细胞植物还保持rhymthms ，那也不能排除其他的器官影响，问什么就能说是光的轻度的关系呢
