45. DS. x+y is an integer. if y an integer?

(1) x-y is an integer. (2)x+2y is an integer.   b.

不会

(Data Sufficiency
1
x 是奇数
2

(Data Sufficiency
1

条件11<=b<=3

45. 1) 2.5+1.5=5; 2.5-1.5=1.   y is not integer

    2) x+2y is integer, so x+y+y= integer+y=integer ---> y is integer

640. because 3a+1 is even

(Data Sufficiency

because 36=12*3(least possible value)

1-30?  30 least positive integer's average (1+30)/2=15.5  non-negtive's average: (0+29)/2=14.5, so difference is 1

不会啊 is the answer C?  12=6x4/2  so the height is 4, 斜边is 5, so another 直角边 is 3, so height split the side 6 in halves, so another side must be 5; another side can't be 6, because height can't be 24/5, because 2.5^2+(24/5)^2 is not equal to 6^2

I should say  3a+1 can be even if a is odd; the sum can also be odd if a is even, so we should suppose 6a+1 or 6a-1 to assure the sum is odd

The largest trade-book publisher in the US has announced the creation of a new digital imprint division, under which it will publish about 20 purely digital works to be sold online as either electronic books or downloadable copies that can be printed upon purchase.
A)  works to be sold online as either electronic books or
E)  works, and it will sell them online as either electronic books or

103. Scientists have found new evidence of people initially registering emotions like sadness or anger in much the same way as heartburn—by monitoring what’s going on within their bodies.

C. that people initially register emotions such as sadness or anger in much the same way as they experiencing

108. In the United States, while the number of foreign-born residents and their children is higher than ever, the percentage of the population they represent is not, in 1910 this group made up 35 percent of the population when compared to 20 percent in 2000.

A. population when compared to 20 percent in 2000

E. population, compared with
            20 percent in 2000

118. A Food and Drug Administration rule implemented in December 2000 mandates that any new drug that they intend to be used both by adults and children must undergo pediatric study and that its manufactures list children’s doses on the label.

B. drug whose intended use is for adults and children as well

C. drug intended for use by both adults and children

128. The federal rules aimed at protecting human subjects of medical experiments were established to ensure that patients must be warned of potential risks and an independent panel would evaluate the experiment before it was conducted.

B. must be warned of potential risks and that an independent panel

E. would be warned of potential risks and that an independent panel would

169. The Chicago and Calumet
Rivers originally flowed into the St. Lawrence by way of Lake Michigan, but having been redirected by constructing canals so that the water now empties into the Mississippi by way of the Illinois River.

E. Rivers, originally flowing into the St. Lawrence by way of Lake Michigan, have been redirected through the construction of

Eoriginally flowing into…

A补全是this group is compared,句子要求比较的是percent of population,E省略了compared with 20 percent (of the population) in 2000

B. must be warned of potential risks and that an independent panel

后面that 的must be 不能省略 (是指B里面并列的两个that宾语从句中都必须有must be吗?

即ensure that patients must be warned of ...and that an independent panel must evaluate...
