这个逻辑题，偶选的E，答案是E，但刚才看讨论贴，发现是争议题BE争议。谁来给讲讲？什么也看不进去！！！！！！！！

I think the answer is D.

D talks about farmers plant cotton quantity that the main question has mentioned.

E talks about the reason of modifying seed  -- pay attention to "because".

B talks about different insecticides have different prices that the main question has not mentioned.

不好意思，才发现E没贴全，可能影响理解了，下面是完整的E选项：
