请教一道类似智力测验的题目

题目没看懂，大虾们指点一下~~~~

In a certain coding scheme, each word is encoded by replacing each letter in the word with another letter.

The same code is used for all words, so that the same letter replaces a given letter each time the given

letter occurs. What code will result when the word TAME is encoded by this scheme?

(1) When the word MAT is encoded, the result is DLX

(2) When the word TEA is encoded, the result is XRL.

1.The price of a telecisions set was reduced by 25 percent. What was its original price?

(1) The reduced price was $187.5

(2) The original price exceeded the reduced price by more than $60.00

Answer:A   有第二个条件和题目已知可以列出一个一元二次方程组阿？？

所以（2）也可以阿？

下面这道题觉得答案有误，麻烦大家给确定一下哈~~~

2.A 2-year certificate of  deposit is purchased for k dollars.If the certificate

  earns interest at an annual rate of 6 percent compounded quarterly,

   Which of the following represents the value, in dollars, of the certificate

   at the end of the 2 years?

Answer: (1.03)^4*k

quarterly 不是每季度么？那应该将interest rate 除以 4 才对啊？

答案怎么除以2阿？而且两年应该是^8吧？

1. 每个字母都被另外一个字母代替编码，同时每个字母被编码的所代用的那个字母都是一样的。所以又一二条件联立，就可以解了。

2。more than 很明显是不确定的！所以不能确定原来的价格。只有条件1成立

3。看不懂，英文阅读差。但是每年的比率是百分之6复合季度。是不是就应该为(1.06)×4×k（就是半年算一次），唉～反正题目看不大懂。请教！！！！

年利率6%，每三个月复利一次，不是直接(1.06)^2*k ？？？

楼主MM，第三道题目是problem solving吗？备选答案里面有没有（1.015）^8？？

我觉得这个数和1.03^4应该是相等的，我算过了，小数点后第三位出现差别。

我也是很困惑，同样的利率，同样的底金，同样的时间，为什么结果会不完全一样呢？

请NN们指点一下
