。。所以我不想读那种每天做高等数学分析的,我看Caneige Mellon的网站好像就是这样的吧 我对这些领域都没有过多接触,问的问题可能有些不妥,再次谢谢前辈~ I am not a finance guy, actually I am from engineering, but to my understanding, M&A advisory belongs to consulting or investment banking, definitely a finance job. Again, choose any top 10 to 15 school, or any school strong in finance. MS in finance is different from MBAs, the former focuses on quantitative part while the latter focuses on qualitative and strategy finance. Assume you were an American, an U.S. top MBA could get you an investment banker job in which you would work in the front line of banking and help your clients raise money through IPO, corporate bond or complete M&A; while an MS in finance would mostly help you land a job in the quant or risk management department of banking in which you would build (normally PhDs from math or statistics build models) or run various financial models. So they provide different career paths, though I have no comments on which path is better. Again, I am an engineer; there must be many real finance guys and girls here to give you more reasonable answers. |
