speaking(7.29) /a profession you like /take a long vacation or several short vacation in a year /policy established by unversity to help std improve wrtting skill: the man support the idear for 2 reasons: help him writing lab report (spend days writing lab report before, and the report is important 'cause it would be used in the next lab report), graduate school requires sample paper ,the man wants to go to graduate school, he will get benifits if his paper is well written what is the ecological succession use ransberry plant as an example(when ecological system is damaged, for example, trees are destroied,sun is enough,ransberry grow, when new trees' seeds come out as baby trees, ransberry protect trees from destroied by animals, then trees grow up, shadowed the ransberry, then ransberry disapear) a std can't attend a research disscussion:how to solve the problem: 1. telephone other students to change the schedule 2.by email , which one do you like is better? reading:1. how stars originated. first son exploed to dust and gas, stars accumulate the gas and crust , that's why some planets are alike. other planet differ... 2.what is the birds' nest while birds migrate. may according to the calendar, that is the time birds spend most time in. however, birds could migrate continuously, then the several nests the bird chooses must be similar... 3.don't remmber writting: drug advertisement: in the lecture:3 points of disadvantagies are listed 1. can exaggerate the good effects, small print side effects 2.can stress people(when there is no adv. ppl can only count on doctor, so doctor is the only responsible one, with adv. ppl think they are responsible too for their desease) 3.the newest could not be the best. for profit drug company produce new drugs but if they are the best drugs compared with the old drugs? some ppl think it's more important to spend time working than being with family , what do you think listen(2 section, totally confused)sorry |
