If you want to get loan in U.S., you need a co-signer.

I would say your GMAT is not very competitive. However, if you have a very strong w/e, outstanding essays and excellent interview, you will still have a good chance. If you are in the U.S., I would strongly suggest you to have an on-campus interview.

It's definitely possible for you to land a job in automobile companies, however, it's hard to give you an exact range of possibility. I would say UT does not have such a strong relationship with automobile companies as with those energy companies. If you really want to get into automobile industry, probably a school based in mid U.S., such as CMU, Michigan, would a better choice.

在UT Austin申请要求中关于TOEFL的要求里看到这样的话：如果GMAT Verbal成绩等于或高于35的话，可以不要求TOEFL成绩，而且是不用特别地申请Waive. 具体执行中是这样吗？就当自己可以省下寄TOEFL成绩的钱是吗？还是尽管GMAT V 高于35，还是寄TOEFL成绩？

我当时因为还申请其他学校,所以考了TOEFL. 而TOEFL又是在GMAT之前考的,保险起见,先把TOEFL成绩寄去学校了.

Applicants will be granted an automatic TOEFL waiver if they have earned an undergraduate degree in a country whose official language is English, or if they have a 35 or greater on the verbal section of the GMAT.
我的理解是,它注明了WILL AUTOMATICLY WAIVE,那么就不需要特别申请了.
