关于LBS和INSEAD的MBA年薪的问题

If you visit Insead website, you will see the number: how many graduates work in London and Paris. When I talked about location, I mean job market related. In LBS, you can invite professionals from the city to have presentation at 6PM. While it's almost not possible in Insead. You need to take a train from a very dirty railway station in Paris to Fontainebleau, then take a bus to Insead. Probably Insead is a good place to study, or enjoy your peaceful life, but not a good place for networking with professionals.

I personally don't think Fontainebleau town is very beautiful. It's just a town, and I believe there are many more beautiful towns in France or UK. LBS is close to Regent Park, and is around one of the richest living area in london (e.g. St. John Wood and Swiss Cottage). It's one of the reason why accommodation is so expensive for LBS students.

FINAC, you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

It may be true that many MBA employers are located in London, but I think that the fact that the major UK companies are coming to INSEAD to recruit is a clear indication of the school's quality and reputation. I disagree that INSEAD is not a place to network (in sense of getting to know more biz people), as INSEAD's class size and alumni network are among the largest in the world.

I don't know if you have stayed in Fontainebleau for a while. INSEAD is actually right next to one of the largest national forest park and a world-class golf course. Chateau de Fontainebleau, a beautiful royal palace adored by serveral French kings and Napoleon, is also quite close to INSEAD. As far as transporation is concerned, not all UK tube stations are that great. There has not been suicide bombers on French rails (so far ).

Time ranks LBS higher than INSEAD, and Forbes ranks INSEAD over LBS.
Getting into either school will change a person's life considerably.

J'aime INSEAD aussi. 强烈支持INSEAD，我也好喜欢那里，梦想去那里，但是现在刚准备考试，跟大家还不是一个层次的，但是我的唯一目标就是INSEAD（你们可能都不相信，我打印了INSEAD贴在墙上，鞭策自己努力）。

Hehe. I think it's fun to discuss this topic here. Just like people arguing about “晒工资”online these days in China...

For me, it's not very difficult to differentiate INSEAD and LBS. I know quite some LBS and INSEAD graduates. They are indeed different. LBS graduates are down to earth, friendly and disciplined. INSEAD graduates are smart, ambitious and imaginative. Dig into your personality and you will see which school matches you more.
