well, this is pretty much a stereotype. I would say they are "good at " finance and consulting repectively.

For instance, INSEAD put more people in PE/VC than LBS does.

只要是名校，起薪都差不多，BTW,我在IESE,银行应该5万八英镑，咨询大概7万欧元，bonus 20%-30%,no big defference globally, but after you start work, bonus based on performance in banking is very defferent, consulting almost the same.

however, industry is case by case, best way is to work in Europe for 2 years and offered by hunter to go back to China, as I know, IESE alumni got more than 100k Euros plus european benefit.

我就在咨询行业工作。据我所知，INSEAD出来主要去的是咨询公司。国际tier-1的战略咨询公司(Mck, BCG, Bain, ATK, Monitor, Mercer)在国内基本都是Global Pay，从8W USD到10W USD一年不等。但也有些去了Big 5(Accenture, IBM, Capgemini, Deloitte, Bearingpoint)和罗兰贝哥的咨询，工资就要打很大折扣，一年只有40W 人民币左右(根据之前background而定)，但工作强度要小于战略咨询公司。

BNP在Hk主要是个 Broker,没啥IBD业务的.我公司(hedge fund)主要就是在BNP在下单的,他家的office就在我对面(63/F IFC Tower 2),我经常过去参加一些corporate presentation, analyst meeting啥子的, 认识里面10多个人,只有一个Institutional slaes division 是top 10 MBA. 估计里面top 10 MBA少得可怜, hoho

CLSA HK office不是特别了解,不过CLSA以出垃圾报告出名,他家analyst写的东西到处送,似乎没什么人瞄的
