如果按你的说法应该是：Insectivorous plants, which unlike other plants， have the ability to trap and digest insects，好象which unlike other plants应该前后有“，”做插入语吧？可是它这里后面没有逗号，我觉得是修饰OTHER PLANTS的呀。

Insectivorous plants, which unlike other plants have the ability to trap and digest insects,如果have...修饰OTHER PLANTS的话，那么这句OTHER PLANTS为主语，have...为谓语，那么which 做什么成分呢？即便要修饰other plants,也要用分词或定语从句。
