33 很仔细的研究了各个选项，觉得应该是C 因为stress不是必要，文章第一句话是讲Most earthquakes而不是题目所问的any earthquake 所以无视 关键在最后段，问题是 too ductile to store enough stress to fracture无法解决 所以科学家提出模型使得The descending rock is substantially cooler than the surrounding mantle and hence is less ductile and much more liable to fracture 注意这里只有fracture而没有stress,也并没有说是stress导致fracture的，我当时想会不会因为colder所以热涨冷缩之类的fracture 而不是像饼干之间的断裂一样（stress and fracture） 根据GMATinfer必须要有根据才能够Infer，在没有证据证明fracture是因为stress而最后只是提到fracture的情况，我更愿意选择C，就是只有3 fracture |
