非常感谢Madison 的众多介绍,觉得学校真的很好,人也很nice. 正在准备申请资料中,想请问一下: 资金证明是需要和其他申请资料一起提交,还是可以等到有了申请结果后再来做准备呢? 已经发了email给admission committee,可还没有回复. 非常谢谢!

我GMAT二战考了760,新托福110.现在开始申请了.

Madison给我发邮件,提醒我1月10的first deadline,看来Madison把Nov 18那个看作是early decision. 我原本的计划是准备提交2月28号的那个deadline的.我回了邮件,问说是否鼓励我越早申请越好, for scholarship consideration.Admission Comittee给我的回信是说我应该在我材料准备完善,最有利的时候申请,说是只要在2月28号前申请的都是被equally considered for scholarship.

由于Madison的essay太多,要申请GA一共要写7篇,我个人希望在2月28号前提交,因为这样我可以让我的美国朋友帮我修改ESSAY.如果匆匆忙忙写了提交怕质量不过关.

听说Admission Comittee曾经告诉过中国大陆的申请者,Madison并不太喜欢从中国大陆直接申请的人,说是太难帮忙找工作了.请问事实情况是否如此?感觉Madison好像更喜欢从美国申请的中国人.是因为顾虑语言和交流问题成为工作障碍吗?

我想申请MBA in Operations and Technology Management, 跟UW-Madison同学是一个方向的吧?还希望能够多多指教!

感觉不对,又看了一遍邮件.

意思应该说的是在1月10号以后,2月28号以前申请的,是有同等机会争取奖学金的.

UW-Madison, is Feb 28 the second round or the third round, does Madison still recruit international students?

"Provide a parent s and/or sponsor s signature accompanied by bank official s signature below OR attach a notarized affidavit from parent and/or sponsor indicating amount of guaranteed support accompanied by bank statement or letter."

请问上面这段话的意思是要提供财力证明吗?是指银行出示的资金证明吗?在申请前就要提交真麻烦.

"If you applied for and expect to receive an assistantship, please use $29,800 per academic year as an estimate. Few master s level awards at the School of Business cover ALL tuition and living expenses. If you request and do not get financial assistance from UW-Madison, will you have sufficient alternative funding to support your studies?"

Assistantships的最高金额只有这些吗? 还是只是一个平均数?这里的 $29,800包括了学费吧,如果扣掉学费好像一年只剩下$3,000的stipend了. 一年的estimated cost是$42,264.48.那么自己总共还需要负担2W美金左右?UW-Madison不是说每个月的补贴大概$500~$800, 还提供health insurance吗?

Stipends for PAs working at least 13 hours per week start at $7,394 per academic year.

这里的Assistantships应该是除了学费以外额外的补助吧.

分数很不错，足够申请啦。Essay是关键，忙这个吧。不用非赶着第一轮，只要在申请奖学金的截止日期前就好。关键写好前4篇essays，另外三篇有关奖学金的essays不用太费心，可以很短的。

我并不相信MBA Office的人会不鼓励大陆同学申请这里。UWMadison是很注重学生的多元性的，各种背景各种文化的，学校都很赏识，但学校也的确很注意口语能力，这是一个很关键的事情。International Orientation第一个小时就让每个学生当着其他同学的面来介绍自己介绍别人，全体Orientation后期就已经开始跟美国同学组Group开始Presentation了，所有的这些正规Presentation都被录像，以供学生参考。可能如你所说，美国人会质疑中国学生的能力，但这也仅限于口语能力，并且也是美国所有学校都会由此顾虑，并非只是UW。BTW，练好口语的确很重要，MBA跟其他任何专业都不一样，即便是B-School里面的其他专业，也都不一样，频繁些的话，每天都要由Group discussion，而且都是跟美国人在一起讨论。口语的重要性不言而喻了。

资金证明可以不跟你的package一起给学校，但是一定要给，否则学校是不会给你admission的

奖学金的钱是在学费免除的情况下每个月800-1100左右，每个学期按照4.5个月来计算
