以下是引用lemonduck在2006-11-3 17:56:00的发言: I want to know which school ranks NO.1? Thank you! 我专门咨询了我们group里面的marketing research的美国人,以下是他给我的回复 Also, kind of what I told you after class today...in response to your email...There is one other MBA that I know of that specializes in Marketing Research, and that's at the Rochester Institute of Technology, which is in New York I think. That MBA is a very bottom-of-the-barrel type MBA though. It has no reputation. In terms of an MBA in Marketing Research, the Nielsen Center here at UW is the best one as of now. There are, however, a bunch of Master's degree programs (non-MBA) that offer specializations in Marketing Research. A few that come to mind are University of Georgia, Southern Illinois University, University of Texas-Arlington, and it seems like there's another one some in Illinois -- maybe one of the University of Illinois campuses. And there are others that I'm not thinking of. Of these non-MBA degrees, University of Georgia is the strongest. Univ. of Georgia and UW are generally considered the two best Master's programs in Marketing Research. One other note...there are, of course, a whole bunch of MBA dgrees that specialize in Marketing and UW is not really at the very top of those rankings, although it is somewhat high. The best Marketing MBA's are Northwestern, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Univ. of Chicago, etc. But the reason why I say that is because the Marketing Research MBA is technically kind of grouped into the UW MBA in Marketing. And the UW MBA in Marketing ranks something in the teens nationally -- 15 or 18 or something like that. So, the UW Marketing MBA is definitely up there, just not at the very top. In short, if somebody's looking to combine Marketing Research with an MBA, this is the best specialized program right now. |
