关于申请I-20表,急!!!

Simon has sent me the estimated expense for 2006-2007 academic year as listed below. How much shall I deposit in my RMB account to issue the bank statement? Currently, I deposited RMB 450,000. And I have another RMB 100,000 invested in open-end equity fund. All together,I think it can only cover 1-year total expenses in U.S.theoretically. IS IT OK? No need to have financial proof to cover 2 year expenses, right? Besides, the school asks me to fill in New Student Request for I20 form. And send it back together with the original immigration supporting documents including the original bank statement, etc. Do I need to have the original bank statement and other orginal financial proof doc. at the U.S. embassy to get pass VO's interview? What shall I do since the original financial proof docs have been sent to the school to request I-20? All the documents are in Chinese. Do I need to have them translated respectively then certified?

All together,I think it can only cover 1-year total expenses in U.S.theoretically. --- For I-20, it should be OK. Read some cases in which students are asked to show money for 2 years, I don't think this is a common practice.
