今天做XY5，错了4个SC。好事情，让我认识到很多自己的不足。其中有一题看了讨论后有些总结，贴上来看看对大家是不是有帮助。

答案是E。做题时对besides doing这种结构感觉没见过，愣是不敢选。看了CD的讨论，把一些关键的地方摘抄如下。我什么贡献也没有。

In B and D the expression identical twins with the same genetic endowment wrongly suggests that only some identical twin pairs are genetically identical. In E, the construction Other than transplants..., all patients ... must take... drugs illogically suggests, as in B, that some patients are transplants. Choice C, the best answer, solves these problems by using a clause introduced by Unless to describe the exception to the rule and a nonrestrictive clause beginning with who to describe the characteristic attributed to all identical twins.

 

参考上述两个范例我们会发现，类似的介词短语本身是由寻求逻辑主语匹配的问题，比如Besides A, B ... 句中A/B是属性相似的东西，但是Besides doing A, B do ...句中的B是besides短语中doing的逻辑主语。上述的理论或许和我们在kingsoft或longman中找到的相关词的例子有所差异，但是，这肯定是ETS的倾向，为了表达更为清楚明确。

Besides yielding such psychological rewards as relief from stress, deep relaxation, if practice regularly, can strength the immune system and produce a host of other physiological benefits. (大全175)

 

更进一步，以下一些用法要考虑逻辑主语的合理性：
                
介词短语，分词，形容词词组位于句首时，其逻辑主语等于句子主语。
1.介词短语如：in contrast to (OG82),(according to, contrary to 例外，不用满足这条)，as well as, besides,(un)like,
2.分词（现在分词和过去分词）：doing /v-ed,或前面加介词的分词短语：by doing…, in addition to doing …,等等
3.形容词短语：如Reluctant to do sth, sb…..GWD-7-Q39:

此题的重点应该不是besides的用法，兄弟，注意看后面这一句"may also play a role in reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke"与reducing平行应该用preventing or inhibiting，而不是 possibility

听说机考的时候逻辑基本上是看完选项选答案没有平时practice这么多的推理时间 队长的逻辑现在复习到什么阶段呢？ 您一般GWD的一套逻辑 错几个题呢？ 逻辑真不知道这样的阅读速度才叫好 太快怕题目理解不到位 太慢怕时间不够

我正为逻辑伤脑筋 不觉得逻辑很难 但是最近做逻辑题总是错很多 开始怀疑自己阅读有问题 然后把杨鹏难句来看 结果觉得杨鹏难句也没有什么问题 我是不是应该回归OG看看上面的分析呢？

有新东方的逻辑补充材料 不知道可不可以用来练速度？

gwd逻辑，一般错3个左右，这个正确率不高。lsat基本没做，做了逻辑大全与费费。逻辑难在抽象词汇上。。。我觉得还是阅读的问题多一些。其次才是其它问题。

大家一起监督，加油。目前作文没开始，数学OG做过一遍，新东方教材做了一点。

VERBAL部分：SC，OG：2遍  GWD30：2遍  大全：一小部分（总结过）XDF教材：1遍

            CR，OG：2遍  GWD30：2遍（总结过）  LSAT两个section

            RC，OG：1遍  GWD30：1遍（比较马虎，比较久以前做的了）OG总结过一遍

总的来说，我复习的时间拖的比较长了，中间也有断断续续，自己总结一下，主要剩RC不太有信心，作文和数学没怎么动。  作文比较心慌。不知需要复习多久，心里没底。

请大家监督知道，晚上做个计划，请大家过目！！

发现有个  有意思的现象

its 或者it 没有指代

possibility to do

并且c 中比较有意思的改变了句子的重心

原来是possible 修饰动作

现在是动作修饰possible

这样我们来到了d

但是，为什么不是d选e 呢？？？

别说动词优先名词

我觉得是不是介词省略和搭配的原因
