I come here for suggestions from you.

I am a fresh graduate, BE degree. My major is software engineering. i will work as a programmer in a global software company. Learning from people around, i made a career planning for myself: work as an software engingeer for 2-3 year and try to be a project manger(suppose it is possible). after 2-3 years, i want to extend my career through pusuring a MBA degree in US, eventually shifting my postion to be a manager.

i went through bbs and learnt many cases that there are rarely successful candidates from technical backgroud or doing a job as an engineer just like me.

Somebody could convince me that an engineer or a project manager can share the opportunity to apply for MBA?

You may follow your path and you can success.

Many people change their titles from engineer to manager after the MBA.

Practice more on management and leadership in your engineering related job- good for your future management related job and good for your essays when you apply for MBA.
