是对的.可是你说的"既然都能够正常工作了，那要这个new switch有什么用呢"是不对的.那个D是用的将来时态.D是暗试说

"因为芯片用的某些装置里会有其它的一些部件，也能够在受到辐射时或者之后正常工作,所以那个new switch是有用的",而不是不需要new switch.

你再仔细体会一下D的含意.

D的意思就是说，new switches可以在during or after exposue to radiation后工作，言下之意思old switches 不能。

所以，在other parts都能在during or after exposue to radiation后工作的情况下（D的意思），new switches比old switches 有apparant advantages.

However, everything else on the car still works, so you don't want to dump the whole car only because one of the tires is flat.  D is saying that if you can change the old tire into a new one that won't get flat easily, that would be nice.

D说的是computer 需要一些部件能够在radiation下工做正常.也就是说文章的那个new switch 是有用的.

E说的是Manufacturers有办法(注意没说是那个new switch)能够保护chips在radiation下不受损. 这不是说new switch 是有用的,而是在说new switch 可能没有用武之地了.

要仔细体会DE说的差别.

所以E是对的.

哈，终于明白鸟。。。D是在说除了那个new switch之外，别的部件也必须在辐射之后还能用得着，否则所以东西都坏了，只有那个switch是好的也是白搭。。。
