QMF的头十个很年轻的人
他应该就是Wisconsin本州人，他在UW拿到的学士，在西北拿到的硕士和博士，并且在沃顿当过老师。他还是National Association of Securities Dealers的经济咨询委员会成员。
他从03年开始做QMF的director，此人一改之前QMF的作风，严格要求毕业生有很强的职业定向——如果你不把进Wall Street作为目标，就不要来申请QMF。

corporate finance申请的情况我还真不了解，以后可能会帮你了解一些。就业05年，中国同学大概有3个人左右，工作地点分别是台北的Citibank,Kansas city的Hillcrest Bank以及San Francisco的Novo Nordisk（具体他们三个人分别来自那里我也不清楚）

不过想问下hypo老兄（应该是77 78的吧），ASAP曾经有没有chinese同胞（not ABC），就业情况如何？

整体来说UW MBA的就业情况是越来越好，不过对于个别program来说也有例外

例如我所在的OTM，他们05年的就业情况就不好，平均工资只有68,600，就业率也只有88%

而今年的OTM毕业生，大部分人春假之前都已搞定工作，平均工资在85,000，较去年有大幅度提升。

我看ASAP的时候，最吸引我的就是这个：

What students do in ASAP...

Up to 21 students are selected to participate in ASAP for each academic year.

Teams: Participants are placed in one of three portfolio teams: equities, fixed income or REITs.  Students can indicate which team they prefer to work with and those preferences are considered as the teams are composed.  Beginning in September of the academic year, each team is given one month to form an investment management "firm" that has an organizational structure, an economic outlook, an investment philosophy and a disciplined strategy that is executed throughout the year.  The teams present their portfolio management proposal to the ASAP Board of Advisors (the Client) for approval and subsequent release of funds to manage.

Following approval from the Client, the teams meet multiple times each week, often with faculty and also with the many investment professionals that serve as guest speakers for the program.  Individual members of each team are responsible for conducting rigorous company and sector research making recommendations on the composition of the portfolio, and actually participating in the team decision making process for management of the funds.

Funds: Funds under management include a $40 million fixed income portfolio, $2 million in equities and a $1 million REIT portfolio.  

No Safety Net:   Students managing the equities and REITs maintain complete flexibility and independence over all investment decisions, subject to endowment guidelines.  Students cannot rely on a "safety net" as they walk the tightrope of active portfolio management.

The fixed income group has the additional responsibility of managing a $40 million of intermediate term, corporate, government, and mortgage-backed securities for the University of Wisconsin System.  Each year this team inherits an investment process that they learn and refine.  The students must deliver performance that meets or exceeds the client's (the UW System Board of Regents) expectations in a multi-manager environment.

The Client:   The overall client for the funds is the ASAP Board of Advisors.  The Board is comprised primarily of alumni of the program, all of whom are active investment professionals.  Three times each academic year the teams make a professional presentation to the Client (with the fixed income group making an additional presentation to its other client - the UW-System) and receive a strong critique on the management and performance of the funds. The Advisory Board members , although alumni and very supportive of the program, take seriously their charge to challenge the students and create the environment and experience of the most demanding client-manager relationship.
