FYR.....I majored in Law too at college. After graduation, I spent 3 years as a tax&legal consultant at a big 4 and 1 year as a marketing / sales manager at a trust company. I applied for B-school after I had been with the trust company for half a year and the result turns to be quite good - though not perfect.
I guess your legal background would not be a disadvantage in b-school application at all. On the contrary, with the public and business world giving more focus on the interaction between enterprise and society / regulation, your legal knowledge could even be attractive if you give it a good play in your application.
On the other hand, I'd suggest you diversify your background while keeping your legal advantage. Try to gain some experience / learn some expertise related to business such as accounting, finance, marketing and sales preferrably from your professional life. Anyway, u are going to apply to a b-school but not a law school (Are U really sure about this? )
Hope the above helps
