千辛万苦准备了三年，终于被录取了，却没有兴奋的感觉。想到未来，不免有些茫然。今年31岁了，一起被录取的人很多25-28岁的，简直不属于一个时代的人，和小弟弟小妹妹一起上课，争取工作，让人不知道说些什么好。忙着申请时没考虑太多将来怎么办，现在到了考虑怎么办的时候，开始担心将来。我在国内证券公司混了快9年，本来是想国内金融教育和就业环境太差，美国毕竟比中国的金融市场领先了很多年，所以就去接受下最先进的教育。但投行大家都说过三十就不要考虑了，那真不知道象我这样的将来能做什么，从来没有在公司里做过，去投行年龄太大，咨询也没有做过。如果可以从头来过，一定要早申请。还是25-28最合适，太早没有经验，太老选择就少多了。。。老实讲，从来没有和比自己小这么多的人做过朋友，怎么当同学相处呢，有经验的说说吧。

It is never too old to learn! Don't worry about your age, and don't let this stupid idea to be your blockstone. 31 years old is not too old, if you keep worrying about that and do nothing to convince people why you want an MBA, then that is much much worse than older age!!!! I don't know much about your background, but since you have the intention to pursuse an MBA, there must be some reason...Do it right now and don't hesitate, otherwise you are wasting your time!
I am 26, dinged by all schools I applied. I don't know whether I can complete my pursuit at your age...But I am struggling to improve my condition. Now I mostly need to improve my GT first! Good luck!  |
